AJB General Contractor was originally founded in 1989 and operated by Alan Jeskey. By embracing sound fundamental and honest business practices Alan operated the company until the end of 2000. In 2001 Curtis Cummings joined the team and, together, the two of them have continued along that path by developing a successful and respected company that is now routinely sought out for project feasibility, design and construction.

In 2005 Jeff Bush joined Executive Management and the trio worked hard and smart to survive the impact of the Great Recession. In Las Vegas about 70% of all General Contractors and Subcontractors closed the doors due to the extraordinarily severe impact on the local economy. Good management, great decision making and the strong work ethic of our team and employees have contributed to our continued success.

Today, we are energized and excited to play a larger role in our community and industry.

What We Do

We have an experienced and very diverse staff with a knowledge base that allows us to do anything from a tenant improvement, commercial/industrial ground-up construction, off-site and on-site work to a full design build taking a customers concept and turning that dream into reality.

We do take care of smaller items such as building maintenance and repairs but only for those customers we have developed relationships with – We like to take care of our customers.

AJB General Contractor is technologically advanced using some of the best, most current, software to handle the entire accounting, project management and scheduling spectrum. We use iPads’s and iPhones in the field providing real-time access and the ability to manage, on the fly, anywhere within the Las Vegas Valley. Our management staff is professional and extremely experienced. AJB General Contractor is professionally managed and a very well run organization – that is one of the reasons our employee turnover is very small.
